Product introduction:
Silica sand production process should be based on ore properties and concentrate quality requirements.
The silica with pure chemical composition of raw ore can be produced by the process of wet or dry crushing, grinding and grading.
Ores with more impurity minerals or high product quality requirements need to use a combined process including several beneficiation methods, such as scrubbing, desliming, magnetic separation (or gravity separation), flotation process.

Application field:
High purity White Silica Quartz Sand has a very wide range of applications, such as glass industry, ceramic production, metallurgical casting, construction and so on. It is also used in high-tech fields, such as the semiconductor industry and aerospace.
1. Application in glass industry: Depending on the silica sand content, purity and chemical composition of the glass, silica sand can be used to make different types of glass, such as ordinary soda-lime silica glass, colored glass with colorants added, which can change the direction of light propagation. Optical glass, special glass with special functions, thermal insulation glass, vacuum glass, conductive glass, as well as glass instruments and daily utensils made of glass, such as glasses, glasses, microwave turntables, mobile phone screens, etc.
2. Application in ceramics industry: The whiteness of ceramics has a very important impact on the quality of ceramics. In order to improve the whiteness, some silica sand can be added to the ceramic raw materials, and adding silica sand can also reduce the drying time of the ceramic body. It avoids cracks caused by too slow drying. At the same time, adding silica sand will make the surface peeling of the ceramic disappear. Therefore, the addition of silica sand improves the quality of the ceramic to a great extent. In addition to its application in ceramics, silica sand can also be finely ground to turn the silica sand into powder for use in the preparation of enamel. The preparation of enamel requires higher purity of silica sand.
