Silica Sand is a granular material. It contains quartz and minute amounts of coal and clay. People call it quartz sand and industrial sand. Quartz over time turns into Silica sand gradually because of the influence of water and wind.
Silica sand can be used in various industries, such as glassmaking, metal casting, metal production, construction, paint and coating, oil and gas recovery, and especially filtration and water production.
For the filtration of drinking water, the processing of wastewater, and the production of water from wells, Silica Sand is used. Silica gravel is something that is used as packing material in deep water wells. In addition, grain size distributions are also very necessary for efficient filtration bed operations.
