On August 29–30, the Gaoteng team took a short break from work and headed to an island for a two-day team trip.

We went to the beach, tried sea foraging, swam in the sea, enjoyed fresh seafood, and had a barbecue together.

After spending most of our time dealing with customers, orders, and daily work, it was nice to put everything aside for a couple of days and simply enjoy the summer.

A Weekend Away from the Office

As soon as we arrived on the island, everyone relaxed.

Some took photos and walked along the coast. Others found a place to sit, enjoy the sea breeze and chat with colleagues.

It was a simple change of scenery, but a welcome one.

Sea Foraging

One of the most enjoyable parts of the trip was exploring the coast and looking for seafood.

We walked between the rocks and shallow water, checking what we could find.

Some colleagues were quite experienced and quickly found something. For others, it was their first time trying sea foraging.

Everyone had their own way of doing it.

Some searched carefully, some helped collect the catches, and some were busy taking photos.

It was a small activity, but it kept everyone together and gave us plenty to talk about.

Seafood and Barbecue

Good food was another highlight of the trip.

We had fresh seafood, a variety of dishes, and a barbecue dinner.

Everyone sat together, ate, talked, and shared stories from the day.

The catches from the beach became part of the conversation, as did all the funny moments from swimming and exploring the island.

It was a relaxed dinner with plenty of food and plenty of laughs.

Back to Work

The trip went by quickly.

On August 30, we left the island with plenty of photos and good memories.

For a team that spends most of the year busy with customers, orders, and daily work, having a couple of days to relax together was a welcome break.

We went back to work after the trip, but the memories of the weekend stayed with us.

For the Gaoteng team, this was simply a great way to spend the last days of summer — by the sea, with good food and good company.
