  • Q What's the processing method of silex lining?

  • Q Precautions for use refractory SIC plate

    A High temperature resistant silicon carbide plate is one of the essential materials in many industrial manufacturing fields. During use, the following points should be noted:

    1. The storage location of Sic refractory boards must be kept dry and away from moisture.
    2. The placement of Sic refractory boards should avoid flat stacking and should be arranged vertically and neatly.
    3. Due to the spraying of aluminum oxide coating on the surface of the Sic refractory board, it should be placed at the kiln edge for drying before use.
    4. To ensure the long-term use of Sic refractory boards without damage, the items to be burned should be loaded into the kiln after drying.
    5. After applying the glaze, the glaze that comes into contact with the refractory board should be wiped clean.
    6. When building silicon carbide boards, the placement of refractory columns should be kept vertical to ensure that the boards are evenly and evenly stressed.
    7. Users should design the firing curve to meet normal operating conditions, and should not use rapid heating or cooling.
    8. When cooling, slow cooling should be used to avoid using cold air for rapid cooling, which may affect the service life of the refractory board.
    9. Be careful when moving down the kiln, avoid manual handling in high temperatures, and avoid collisions.

  • Q The Size of silex lining bricks

    A
    Usually, the thickness of the sidewall is thinner than the body.
    Length and width usually are a range, different sizes assure the blocks to be stably installed on the ball mill.
    The sum of the width for all rows is equal to the perimeter of the ball mill, and the sum of the length for all columns is equal to the length of the ball mill. 
    1).Length:200-350mm; Width:150-220mm; Thickness: 130-140mm; 140-150mm; 160-180mm; 180-200mm for drum/body of ball mill 
    2).Length:200-350mm; Width: 150-220mm; Thickness: 120-130mm; 130-140mm; 140-150mm; 160-180mm; 180-200mmfor sidewall of ball mill 
    Remark: other sizes can be produced according to your requests.

  • Q Important index to evaluate quality --- Flint Pebbles

    1). Hardness

    Our flint pebbles have a higher silica content of 99.31%, and the density is 2.66g/cm3, so it decides the pebbles have a hardness of 8 months and better wear resistance.

    2). Whiteness

    The whiteness after firing reaches the standard for tableware because our pebbles contain a low iron of 0.018%.

    3). Cleanness

    The surface of the pebbles will have a little powder, but it won’t influence the raw materials in the ball mill.

    Because the powder is made from the pebbles during the process of grinding.
