In some applications with high requirements for product color, such as the production of ceramic glazes and pigments, color impurities may change the appearance quality of the product. Therefore, it is necessary to choose high-purity flint pebbles, white color, or meet the requirements.

• Hardness and Wear resistance

The higher the hardness of the grinding stone, the less likely it is to be worn or broken when effectively grinding the material being processed. High hardness and good wear resistance can reduce the loss of grinding balls during the grinding process, lower the frequency of efficiency, and reduce production costs. Conversely, it will not only affect the purity of the materials but also may require frequent addition of new grinding balls, increasing production costs and operational complexity.

• Roundness

The more regular and round flint pebbles can roll and collide more evenly during the grinding process, providing better grinding effects and causing relatively less wear to the grinding equipment. Meanwhile, the smooth-surfaced flint pebbles have a relatively large contact area with the material during the grinding process, resulting in a better grinding effect. Moreover, they are less likely to adhere to the material and are convenient for cleaning and maintenance.
